Default Siberian Tiger

I took this photo yesterday at Jungle Cat World which is a small zoo just east of Toronto Canada. I think it turned out pretty good given the obstacle of focusing through fences. Any criticism/suggestions on how to improve such a shot would be welcome. Also, I'm pretty new with Photoshop/Elements/Lightroom. Is there any way in any of those programs to remove the fence from the photo (without making it look like a fence was removed)?

Taken with Nikon D5000 18-105 VR Zoom at 105 mm. ISO 400 f5.6 1/800 sec.

I've tried to remove detailed fences like this before and have failed miserably. So, unless you are a complete master/guru at photo shopping I would say no

That's what I figured but I thought I'd ask just in case. Thanks for taking a moment to reply.

With this kind of shot you have to get right up to the fence in order to try and DoF it out of existence. Might just be able to Ps the fence away but it would take ages. Quicker to fly to Siberia and take a new shot!

There is a barrier around the main fence about 5 feet out that you can't cross so I couldn't get right up to the fence to do that.

Well to honest there weren't many official types around so I probably could have managed it. Will have to keep that in mind next time.

LOL.... ummmmm that's how people get eatin! Was a good shot for what it was, but don't press your luck like that unless you are willing to pay the ultimate price for a photo.... Still..... If you can manage to stay focused......a charging cat might be an awsome photo. LOL.
