Default Hokkaido Dragonfly

Visited a flower park in Hokkaido Japan, it was an incredible experience!
Managed to capture this dragonfly among the bushes :P
Just wanted to get comments for the following points:

1. What do you guys think of the composition? (Too much empty space?)
2. Do you guys have any post editing techniques you would recommend me to apply onto this photo? :P

Cool bug. I don't mind empty space, but I do mind that giant orangred blob. It's about the same size as the dragonfly and is sitting near that upper left 3rd point, making it instantly compete for our attention. Kinda kills the idea of "empty space." A crop might be your best bet

I was quite unsure about the orange blob as well...when i captured the photo, I actually wanted this orange flower in the background but I guess it acts as more to be a distractor :S

Thanks for you comments!!
