Grace - beautiful mare

She is also in foal currently, how exciting! so, I would kindly appreciate all of your advice and opinions on this picture. I for one am bowled over by it, think it is stunning and considering I have had my first ever DSLR (Canon EOS 450D) for less than a week, I am astounded. For this picture, I had to work with an electric tape which borders their field by the river (I shot from the other side of the river while walking my dog) and I think I have managed it.

Do you think that the lighting and crop is okay on this? I had to work with clouds and sun, meaning the sun kept going in and coming back out again, so had to time this well

I think you have captured her beautifully. I love the expression. The crop is nice, I like that you left some space in front of her and above her ears. Beautifully done.
