Your exposure looked really good. You can tell when an image is exposed properly when the histogram is almost touching the right side. This will work for most images. I like your composition, but would prefer to have a slightly tighter crop, to show off the elk a little more. The focus should be on the eye, and it was. The eye looked good and sharp to me. The only thing this image lacks is editing. A whitebalance adjustment, levels adjustment, and some sharpening will help alot. I did an edit for you, and i also did a noise reduction (you shot it at iso 500 so it will show a little noise in the background and shadow areas) ![]() Nice job, keep up the good work. |
