Default Lions in Namibia 2007

This is a photo I took during a trip to Namibia Africa in 2007. I took the photo with an advantix camera so there really is not much information to put in. I would however like and appreciate critique on the composition of the photo and any hints to improve it. Thanks!

camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ20
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 72 mm
ISO Speed: 80
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

Default rules

I will re-read the rules and make sure that the photo meets the criteria. Thanks.

Default Is this what you wanted regarding the rules?

I have copied the information from the camera and etc as I understand that is what is missing for the shot. Is this what you are looking for?

I like the close-crop to fill the frame, but I'm assuming you had to do a pretty serious crop to get there, resulting in a bit of a grainy image at larger sizes. Maybe you would want to try a slightly looser crop, thinking about how the lions relate to their environment, and paying close attention to composition? Not sure, but maybe something to try.

Default Close crop

Thanks for the ideas Zamchris! I will look at the photo and see what I can change. Yes I did have to crop a lot to bring them up this close and since the photo was taken with a really cheap digital camera it is not the best pixel size. I will see what I can do to improve it though and will post another shot if I can fix the items. It is nice to have something to work on since I am very new to digital photography and still have a long way to go.
