Default An Eagle for July 4th

This lady was on display at one of the many fairs along my area during the holiday weekend. I wasn't terribly happy about the fence in the background (how distracting do you think it really is?) but decided it ended up for the best since the beak probably would have otherwise been lost to the tree behind it (and upon closer inspection you find that the tip points directly at the word "raptor", which I kinda like). I'm wondering if people think I ought to crop out most of the picture and just have the bird since that would certainly limit the distractions and might focus in more on the eye.

ps- sorry if the picture is a little awkwardly sized. Haven't gotten how to make it smaller in my editing program without destroying it entirely...

Some cropping would help- maybe crop right below the top of the fence. I like the trainer in the shot- it tells the story of the bird and the trainer together, as it looks like they're looking at each other. I also like the "raptor" word on the sign right next to the eagle's head. It's a cool bonus. One thing I'd check out is the white balance. I realize the bird is in the shade, but the colors seem a bit off- especially around it's beak and head feathers. Cool shot- must have been fun to be that close!
