I was venturing out today and about to head home when I came across this opportunity to photograph this deer in this field. I would like some critique on the angel, shadows, exposure etc. Thanks in advance for taking the time to look.

Good capture. My suggestion is to reduce the exposure next time - the photo is weel overexposed. I notice in your EXID data your ISO setting was 250. I am not familiar with your camera, but for what looks like a very sunny day, this appears to be too high. If that is the lowest ISO, you might try stopping down with exposure compensation (if that feature is available on your camera.

Lower ISO as suggested, maybe a smaller aperture as well. Looks quite bright, could lower ISO and aperture, should sharpen it a bit. Also maybe crop it so not so much space to the left hand side. Is better usually to have space on the side it is looking into, in this case the right hand side.
