Default in pursuit

My first post. My dog chasing her toy. Was it a good idea to make this B&W? How is the composition? What do you think of the angle? Any other suggestions also welcome.

Camera: Pentax K-X with 18-55mm kit lens
Shutter: 1/180
Aperture: f/4.5
ISO: 800
White Balance: auto
Focal Length 40mm
Flash fired, compulsory flash mode

i personally love B&W and think it well composed especially since you got down to his level.

I like this photo. It looks well-suited for monochrome. It has a good tonal range; all the way from white to black. The depth of field is good, and the eyes are sharp and in focus.

The composition is great, with her coming into the picture, and the story is there; she's going for her toy, and everyone should stay out of her way!

BTW, how does she like stopping on those hardwood floors?
