![]() Camera: Nikon D40 Exposure: 1/200s Aperture: f/8 Focal Length: 50mm (f/1.8 E Series 50mm) ISO Speed: 200 This shot was a bit of a mistake exposure wise and not as good as the ones of the white and grey hens. However, this particular hen has been a bit of a bully recently so I thought the underexposed result made for an apposite portrait. I've cropped to a cinematic 16:9 ratio, tried to make use of the diagonal line from the paving and intensified the image with a bit of work in the Gimp. Do you you think it works as a "chicken noir" image or is the lack of detail round her face a killer? Wulf |

Very funny but I think the whole point of "Film Noir" was to suggest that there was more to the characters than the eye could see. Chickens? They're just not that deep.
