Cute cat, and welcome to DPS...the image can use a little levels boost to make it pop, and the background is quite distracting, so a portrait (vertical) crop of Bond works a little better for me. I played with the image a little in photoshop just to see how it would look. It's a little tight for a 4x6 crop, but an 8x10 worked out OK

Thanks for the tips! I was worried about the distracting background, but since he's a house cat I wanted to capture him in his element so to speak. Gonna play around with what you suggested though .

As per your suggestion auto-focus, how's this?

BTW, I would have taken the collar off of him, but it was such a PITA to get on him I figured I'd let that one slide lol

Looking good..do you think it works better than the original? And, yeah, cats and collars don't mix well...if you want to see a cat back up for about 45 minutes trying to get out of it's collar just put one on them..haha

Yeah, I definitely like the cropped/color adjusted photo better. Thanks for the tips--I'm very much a novice at this stuff and trying to learn as much as I can!
