I think you should crop some more, at least until that lone blade of grass (i think ) on the right is eliminated, and it could be better if the tiger's behind isn't cut off

I agree with Jughead. A tighter crop to eliminate some of that odd grass growth on the right would help. I like the shot, though. Good balance of the orange corner and green background. Remember, too that the key with Tigers is to wait around long enough for them to be interesting!

Side note: I've got the D5000 and was thinking about the D90 (or going all out for an FX sensor). Any thoughts on your decision so far?

The built in motor was big for me.......Now I can really enjoy the 50mm f/1.8......lol.......Im not big on going over 800 iso, but with this camera I can go more if needed........The sensor is really good.....Ive had no regrets investing a little more money with this camera........The HD video is a nice little perk, but I dont use it that much......

I would definately crop more. The green pallet adds to the overall image but the star of the shot should be the tiger. You captured him very clearly. I would have also liked to see more of his backside, but I think a closer crop will minimize that. Good shot.

I would crop out the wood on the left at the very least...best to crop out more of the back of the tiger than just the butt. Make his head and shoulders your focus. Nice shot btw...Love the contrasting colors.
