Default bird in orange..

I took this one in my house...u can see the orange color of the roofs across the street...do u think this colors distract the attention on the main object?

The orange isn't a distraction to me. But perhaps that the orange line cuts through the bird on a diagonal is a bit of a distraction - but if so, it's a minor distraction.

Any way to lighten the bird? It's underexposed (unless that is the look you were going for).

Instead of lighting the bird I would suggest to make a silhouette out of it, it might be interesting...
