![]() this was shot on a lazy afternoon from my balcony. There was enough light but I was 15ft far from the scene. A simple color filter is used to remove distractions from the background. I normally quite like selective colouring but to my eye it doesn't seem to work with this picture (although I'm a complete amateur so take my input with a pinch of salt).
Well done on capturing the fox/chipmunk - I would have captured a blur :-) |

Thanks for your comments. It generated newer ideas.
But now I have to wait for the next opportunity ![]() A little infor about the original (http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4010/...0cdf40_o_d.jpg) is the background was dirty with dry and brown grass/leaves of the backyard in the background. Brown is also the color of the squirrel (chimpmunk). I find it very hard to focus on distant(in this case 15feet) subjects (tips are welcome). This made it hard to keep a steady focus on this running squirrel.\ Altogther, the brown background and the un-focus made it necessary to use the selective coloring. Otherwise it looked stupid to me :P Please keep the comments flowing (maining about focussing on distan subjects and low light) |
