Default Interesting or just weird?

The light from the evening sun was hitting my cat in a funny way, so I took a quick shot. My gf thinks that the one eye in shadow is distracting, but I think it gives a bit of interest to the shot. What do you think? Any additional comments are welcome.

Default Both

I think it is both but it's kind of funny he looks like he is two seperate cats put together. You could almost have photoshoped his face it is such and interesting contrast between how they look. Now I just joined and I am learning so I am just giving my amateur opinion mind you. But I like it and I think both but that's not a bad thing.

Haha, I think it's both interesting and weird! If I took a photo of my cat like this, this would definitely showcase her psycho personality! If this is a friendly, loving cat in this photo, though - this may be a really odd photo for him.

But nevertheless, the lighting is quite unique, and very interesting! I don't see such lighting too often.

My only suggestion would be to darken the bed sheets a little in the background. Then the cat will stand out a little better without the bed being so prevalent and bright.

That's my two cents! Happy Friday :-)

Another vote for interesting bordering on weird. The shadows mess it up a bit, but that light brings out the variations in his fur nicely.
