Default Stranded Man 'o War (don't touch!)

This is my first post and my first real attempt at something other then just snap-shots. I am interested to hear about if i use the rule of thirds properly. Also in the past I would always crank up the "sharpen", is this wrong? I have seen other critiques were people have been told to dial down the sharpen. Thanks!

I found this guy (among several others) on a beach while visiting Palm Beach County in Florida mid April 2010.

This is epic. I love the colors! I would say your composition is great. Can't personally say there's anything I would change The fact that it's a Man 'O War kinda creeps me out!

Wow, great colors for sure. I might have taken a second shot after having removed a few of the little bits of debris, but I that's because I generally enjoy cleaner shots. This is great as is!
