composition and focus

I like this image but i am unsure if the motion blur is detremental. I also see compositional elements that may also hinder this such as bright areas around the subject. Feed back on these or other critique?

f stop was not recorded as this was shot using my old school adaptal Tamron 90 f2.5 manual focus lens. iirc it was ~f8.0

If it's cropped more tightly, I think it will draw more attention to the bee...

Such a pity that the head of the bee is not in focus because this is a terrific shot. I love the colour and the picture is nicely balanced. The motion blur on the wings is totally acceptable - gives a good indication of the speed the wings move. The best focus is on the pollen stuck to one of the legs so your depth of field is really narrow. You may be able to zoom in with your photo program, select the head and maybe work on it. Not easy.
