Welcome to DPS.
Your picture quality is excellent - as you could not move your main lighting source possibly a little fill-in flash would have helped, but it's not always easy to get the right amount in a hurried situation. You might try a little PP fill-in. For me the main issue with your picture is the framing - the bird is right in the middle of the frame with not enough room to look into. I suggest you have a look at this tutorial: Rule of Thirds DPS is a great place where we can all learn together. TFS |

Thanks so much for that feedback! I hadn't tried much in my Photoshop to help with the fill-in. Why didn't I think of that?
I cropped this image down since the bird was farther away in the original image - I will play around more with the cropping and the rule-of-thirds. Thank you! |
