Nikon D700, Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8, AlienBees B800 Strobe with 24x32in softbox with grid camera right, white reflector camera left, black seamless background. Oh yes, and one cat nip bag for a bribe.

The lighting really makes what could have been a boring image interesting.

The two things I am finding as I learn more about lighting, and lord knows I have much to learn, are:
1) Focus on simplicity
2) If you want something to be interesting don't light it all

You have done both here, nice.
