Default Kitten

This is a picture I took a few days ago of my ~4 month old kitten, Piggie. It was his first trip outdoors (our yard is fenced, so he is safe to play in the grass with the older cats and the dogs).

I would like to know what you think of the shot. I know it would be better if I'd caught his whole front paw outstretched, but with kittens, they're like young children and hard to get.

I love kitties!!
Very nice shot. So you ID'ed the paw issue, the other thing that might make it a bit nices wouls be to have that extra space to the left...so the kitty is walking into that space. ver there on the right it isn't really helping the composition. It might be better if it was cropped out. Great focus on the eyes!!

I second that, open space on the left for the cat to walk into. Nice DoF

I Third that! Also wondering how do let your cat out in to your yard without it eating grass? If we leave our cat out she'll go and munch on the grass then later she'll throw up.

I honestly don't know. My cats mostly leave the grass alone. I guess it just depends on the cat. Maybe yours just likes grass
