What an excellent shot - you can be very proud to have taken such a beauty. The bird is in focus as is the water and the composition is a pleasure. It is a picture that would look good printed out huge! Well done.
I am quite puzzled, however at how your exif data can be so misleading. Perhaps Picasa strips off the data when you modify the picture. All you have left is the shutter speed and nothing else. I went to see the exif in Flickr but that was no help.
Anyway, you are the first person I have seen use Picasa to work on a picture without overdoing the adjustments. 10/10 for shot and processing!

Thanks alot!
The reason the EXIF data is messed up is because it was a manual lense i was using with an adaptor, so my camera got no data from it.
Actually the way I edited was to open it in photoshop and then save the edited version as a copy, and the post the copy onto flickr through picasa, I try not to over-edit too much. Thanks for the comments though!

Awesome, esp w/manual focus! Do you recall the lens and /or focal length?

Great shot with focus and perspective... my only comment might be with cropping so close to the wings... especially the left one. With such sweeping wingspan, you want the feeling he's got room to fly. But congrats, I'd be quite happy with this one!

Thanks alot! The lens is a really old 70-210mm I got on ebay for around $40 lol. I cant remeber too well but I think the focal length was probably at 200mm.

I like the way the water looks - did you use a polarising filter?
