Need some critique.
Do you think I got to close?
Is the DOF good?
Is the background too distracting?
Should I do something about her eyes being so dull and dark?

She just needs to 'pop' a bit more, i've played around with it a bit and come up with this....

Lovely dog btw, i always want to go up to St Bernards and give them a big cuddle. But the fear of dog slobber puts me off!

Off the top of my head i adjusted the shadows and highlights (i usually lighten shadows and darken highlights) then adjusted the midtone contrast and added a warming filter to it and dropped the intensity of that down a notch so it was only very slight.

Great capture btw
