Default Is this overly processed?

Hiya all - I'm new to this so this post is as much an experiment in the forum as a request for critical analysis.

That aside, I recently took this shot of goitered gazelles and have done a little processing (with Canon Digital Photo Pro) but wonder if I've gone a little far.

All opinions welcome.

Cheers,

Gareth

I love the pose that they are in, but I do not like that they are not both in focus.

Yep, they look nice but depth of field is too short.

I'd say you didn't go far enough.

I'd recommend opening the whole thing up a bit brighter.

Default Thanks

Thanks all,

The two key opinions seem to be too dark and to shallow a depth of field.

To the first, yes, I do have a tendency towards darker images - a personal taste that I should maybe temper a little. The depth of field; I'm not so sure about this as I kind of like the way the second animal is out-of-focus - it gives emphasis to the main subject in the foreground but, next time, I'll play with both approaches.

Thanks again.

Another one coming soon (as soon as I read the guidelines for posting

Wouldn't say overprocessed at all, if anything id probably sharpen and brighten the whole thing up a bit.
