Default First Signs of Spring

Just looking for some feedback. Thanks! I changed it to black and white, darkened the shadows and increased the highlights just a but. What could I do to make it pop a bit more or make it more interesting? I used Picasa 3 to edit the photo. Thanks!

I think this is a bit too flat. If you'd adjust the highlights in PP, you could get more detail to the flower.

And be sure to check out the rules for critique section. You'll get more responses if you add the things you're supposed to.

Thanks! I added the exif info and some questions.

I did adjust the highlights in Picasa 3 but if I go to high with it you can't make out any details of the flower.

Is it just me or something i don't know but i think pictures of flowers should be in color so you can see the beauty of them, but with that said i think it is overexposed just a bit and you are losing some detail.
