I'm not quite sure what your question is? Would you mind asking something more specific? Please and thank you!

Sorry, I would love to hear what other people think when looking at the image.
I was wondering if this is too dark or just plain too close for a portrait. With an exposure like this is there something you can do with post processing to make it better or different? I am new to this forum, so sorry if my question was confusing. Thanks, Jörg |

looking at your exif:
Camera: Sony DSLR-A350 Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250) Aperture: f/8.0 Focal Length: 500 mm ISO Speed: 200 I'd say a very nice job of getting a sharp image...your shutter speed was too slow...I have to assume you used a tripod. I like the crop and the lighting and overall exposure. I don't think I'd mess with it. Yes, you could do something "different" than this, and you might want to, but you won't necessarily get anything "better" than this.

Hi SK66,
thanks for the reply, I actually did not crop the image this is the full frame. I used it handheld and not a tripod as they were walking constantly. Do you think a bit sharpening might help? Since i am new to PP can you give me a few pointers what one could do to this picture? I do have photoshop and would love to play around with a few images. I just did not know what to do with an image like this one. Again, thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. Cheers, Joerg |

I don't see a need for sharpening... You could edit a copy of this and mess around with shadow/highlights and layer modes to see what you can come up with, but I would keep the original as is.
