Default Lizard with a Key Largo Sunrise in the Background

I took this while in Key Largo at about 6am. I only had time to take one shot before the little guy ran up the tree.
Let me know what you think or what to change next time.

Thanks.

I'd like a little bit more DOF. I wanna be able to see the rest of his body but can't. I think if you stopped down a bit to bring his body/the rock he was on into focus it would make it pop a little more but everything behind him just seems to kinda melt together which is unfortunate. Otherwise nice picture and good luck gettting the opportunity again

I'd have to agree on the DOF. I'd like to see the lizard and the thing it's on in focus with the sunset in the background how it is now. You'll have to teach us how to get lizards to pose for you

Default Hope this is OK

I just did not know how to tell you without showing, so here is what I would do with it.

First I cropped it into a verticel 8x10 to get rid of most of the "blown out" sunrise to draw the eye to the lizard. Next I boosted the contrast to plus 15 and the brightness to plus 20 in Gimp. Then I ran the "Unsharp Mast" filter in Gimp with it's default setting to crisp up the edges a little.

It is not perfect, but I think it is a little better. You may disagree and that is OK since I will delete all copies on my end and am only trying to help.
