Default Dimly lit Dinosaurs

Took this at a Children's museum yesterday. Flash fired, but was pointed up into a high black ceiling... Kind of a cool look. What could I have done different? Or how could I manipulate it now to make it look better?

Default Cool effect on black ceiling

Can you try this again and get a true Silhouette of the dinosaur you want to be the point of interest? It is an interesting effect when you thought it was a black ceiling.
