I don't think so. I imagine that your 18-55mm probably opens up wider than f/5.6 at the 18mm end and suspect that what you are looking at would be a direct replacement. If you want to go fast, then a prime lens would be the way to go - a common option is to look for a second hand 50mm f/1.8 lens.
