it's an awesome lens. if you can't do the 50-200, the 70-300 is awesome. not great for indoors unless you can provide enough light. i'm attaching a photo i took last night with my 70-300 that's on ebay. i only used an external flash with this photo, more light could have been used, but it did well with just my flash indoors. i'm only selling it because my 50-200 arrives tomorrow, but it's a great lens for the money. i say buy it. coupled with the e620, hand holding it is A LOT easier than it was with my 520.
