Hi, I'm Beccah. I've always had an interest in photography. I loved taking photos with my father's cameras as a child, and got my own camera in my early teens. Since then I've been through a number of point and shoot models to take pictures of holidays, family, etc. Now I'm looking to get into it a bit more seriously, as I have wanted to for a while and not made the time.
So I've bought myself a Nikon D60, and I'm going to do my best. I'm hoping that photography will also help me gain inspiration for my fiction writing. I'm also hoping that my eldest daughter (she's four next month) might join in with taking a few pictures (she has a chunky kids camera of her own).
So that's me. I'm really open to any tips for a SLR beginner, any pointers at all.
