I love the contrast in the one on the left as it pops but it feels kind of 'staged' if you know what I mean. The one on the right does more for me in what you were trying to convey. With the contrast and lighting when I saw it I immediatly thought of Hannibal Lecter. Love the vibe it gives off. Great work!
