I couldn't figure it out before because I had the wide-flash adapter (your "built in thingy" that you couldn't remember

) pulled out. I didn't realize when that is pulled out, it only stays at 14mm.
Woo-hoo! I also found a great DIY tutorial on making your own "beauty dish". I'm going to make it today and start doing a photo shoot with my son. LOL! If anyone's interested, here's the links I found for it:
