Hehe, I am a horrid artist when I'm not behind a lens, so I commend your courage in painting your own bowl! Though a patterned/colorful bowl is not necessary, it just adds interest. Don't forget to experiment with all the different options! And yes, I forgot to mention that wider bowls do work better. Hey, you can even use your kitchen sink if you want!
