The sides, top, and bottom are 3/8 plywood. The front, and back are a 1X6. The foam is from an old gun case I had.
I use to have access to a wood shop, but now all I had to use was a circular saw, jig saw, belt sander, and a drill.
I looked into the pelican cases, but had this wood laying around, and I love to make stuff. Inside dimensions are 16 X 8 X 8.
