Because the little guys aren't intelligence enough to search google and Getty to find out what the going rates are for these type of ads or for selling pictures as a matter of fact. There's plenty information on the market to find to know what the charge. Check out photoshelter, ASMP, Editorial Photographer's Photo fee calcuator, better yet...call a pro in your area, especially someone from the American Society of Media Photographer Chapter (ASMP) near you. They can provide valuable insight. Hell.........call or email me as I'm a ASMP member and know a ball park figure as to a $$$$$ figure to charge or at least, start from. You folks, just because you have a digital camera and think you shoot good pictures, are killing the market place.
