Fantastic image it tells a story which I feel all good images tell reguardless of techinical aspects. I see no problem with your work at all. Exposer is good sharpness is good composition is good. A shot I would print and mount on my wall.
Now if only I could get rid of these feelings of starting a fire just so I could take pictures of firefighters at work.
