Thanks for sharing your photo. I like your subject. While we sometimes have no control of a situation we are trying to capture, the door and door knob in the background are disturbing to me (my problem of course); however, several different angles (if possible without making the musicians nervous) may have mitigated that issue. Did you handhold your camera...I sense you had blur and you decided to handle it with soft focus or something? Just a question. I have mixed feelings about soft focus. Another thing, is that powerful shots of musicians include them watching each other and thereby connected...I realize that that may not have been possible as she appears to be reading or remembering lyrics and he is just trying to play along for the first time.
