Honl Photo 1/8 Speed Grid for Portable Flash

I am surprised to see it costs $29.95 (plus the speed trap) -- I thought it was much cheaper.

Be sure your design keeps the straws away from the flash. Straws melt easily.
Iv seen his stuff very nice but that is actually without the speed strap so tack on another 9$ so a grid spot for 40$? im broke no way... I need to buy some corrugated plastic and make one. David Hobby in his seminar shows the effect of different length grid spots I want to make like 4 or 5 different ones.
