I want to know how to capture the action without flash, in mediocre lighting, and from a distance. I did my homework and found that I should set the ISO as high as possible (1600), open my aperture as much as I can, zoom and compose, use manual focus to get to where I want to get the shot, and try to get as high as I can on my shutter speed, BUT, what else can I do? any extra tips? and, should I do something differently from what I found?
