this one had me stumped since i liked it so much already.....
here goes....
i wanted a more summery feel.....first thing was to add a splotch of light gold to the bee's black bits to lighten them and well, get them all golden.....then i applied a radial gradient layer mask to select the background and darken it a bit with a multiply .....repeated this step as the background got more saturated....just not enough.....created more detail in the bee by applying accented edges to him with thin but bright accents of lightest yellow....
i guess i just didn't have it in me this morning.....
