This may have been better shot in portrait to get more of the top of the tree and less of the poles and lines on the left. Some more contrast would some of the dull look out of it.

I think shots like this do much better when you take the time to find a locale that is minus all the extraneous distractions like cars and lines. Sadly it is very difficult and takes lots of time. On the other hand, I sometimes like take fun shots out of the window too. It makes you think fast - like, do you want to shoot it portrait, or landscape. When you take them and look at them, you get a learning experience to help you next time you need to think fast.
