So I don't know how well everyone is versed in the abundance and scarcity business models? But I was wondering how we could apply them to photography.
This will explain it better than I ever could:

This image also illustrates it rather well:
Every abundance creates new scarcity - The Future of the Web on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
And I really like this wired article:
Tech Is Too Cheap to Meter: It's Time to Manage for Abundance, Not Scarcity
I think the conventional professional photographer definitely fit into a scarcity model, I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on how we as photographers can adopt the abundance model, or if it's even possible. If the first thing you say is "There's no way" remember that Google is making more money than God right now, and their entire business is built on the abundance model.
Ideas?
