Hi! My name is Laura and I've been an amature shutterbug most of my life. Back then it was all about just getting the picture, but in the past four years it has really become a hobby that I'd like to develop into something that I may be able to use for income in the future. Kind of my retirement career, lol! I entered into the digital world about three and a half years ago when I got my Kodak Easyshare. Then a year ago I purchased my Olympus E500 DSLR and I'm loving it! When lighting is a challenge, if I can't take my Oly, or...if I'm just plain lazy I use my Kodak. My photos vary from shots of family and friends to landscapes and a lot of country music artist's concerts. I plan to take take some classes so I can the most out of my equipment and learn what equipment I may need to obtain to better my skills. I'm excited to have found this site and look forward to learning and sharing with my peers.
