The tree doesn't bother me. Since the leaves have fallen you don't have foliage blocking the view and detail of the building.
Think of it this way, you see the lines and architecture of a made made structure aswell as the one of a mother nature made structure.
Biggest thing I'm seeing here is a lack of contrast making the picture appear rather flat.
A little post-processing to bring out some shadows could do wonders for this shot..
