'Allo all,

I've posted a few messages here and there on this site and so far it looks like a fine place to spend some time and hopefully grow my hobby. Time to introduce myself!

Like GEli, I hail from Winnipeg, MB Canada.

Although I've had a long interest in photography, it's only this year that I've decided to go all out and grow my skills. Over the past few years I've used a Canon PowerShot A95 as my main camera, having only recently moved to a Canon 400D (or Xti as they insist on labelling it here).

My favourite photography subject is architecture, esp abandoned places where people once occupied a great deal of time which now stands empty. The right photo can return a bit of life to such places...and tell a story. I generally like subjects which people normally pass over as ordinary and don't give a second thought to.
