Hi I do use a tripod and macro lens, my problem is with post production, to get the item looking as good as possible. ie cleaning away imperfections, stains, scratches from the product itself, I hope I make sense!

In the following photos, you will notice that the band part of the rings are not
100% smooth, they have a 'stained' look dark spots/blotches I want to photoshop
them out to get an even looking area, but everytime I try, all I do is make the problem worse!
Anyone with good advise on what to do in PS ? thanks for all the help in advance.
