Default Beginners comment on fairyslippers photograph

I find that you have a nice colour combination in the yellow and the lilac in the flowers, and it is nice that both flowers are in the focal range, however I believe that the foliage to the bottom and the right are competing too much with the flowers themselves, perhaps masking them and blurring them a tad might help out. It would perhaps be a good idea when photographing flowers in the field to wander around the plant and take several shots at different angles. This one has a blade of grass disturbing the front flower, and the second flower is behind the first so not a clear shot of either flower, and they are each so nicely formed with no defects and have a nice drop of dew or rain on them. The photo is also excellent in its symmetry with one flower acting as rather a shadow of the other. Good luck in your critique
