Default My first macro - flower

I am trying to improve my photography skills and just started taking macro shots this summer. This is a flower from my garden and I would appreciate any comments on the shot. That will sure help me improve..

1) Is the shot bright enough? It was shot in the afternoon...
2) How is the composition? I personally like it but any other suggestions are welcome..
3) Is the focus sharp enough?

EXIF:

Canon PowerShot S5 IS
Aperture: f/2.7
Exposure: 1/125
ISO-80
focal length: 6mm
White balance: Auto
Flash mode: No flash, compulsory
