I understand totally what you mean. There is a guys at work who rent one for the weekend to capture his girlfriend doing skydiving. He brought it at work and I got the chance to actually try it with my D90.

It's definitly another category for both opticaly and build quality. You cannot compare them. I didn't want to give it back hahaha.

It's on my wish list but there is many other thing I want to buy before that. The 70-300mm suit me for now.
