Default Longboard Down the Bridge

Hey guys, I'm a graphic design student, and checked out a 20d for a day. I went to clearwater beach to do some longboarding with friends, and we stopped at a bridge to ride and take some shots. Here is my favorite with some photoshop work.

I took this at about 5:30, with a halfway overcast sky.

Here's my critique:

Shot at iso 800, and legs look very noisy, as does the rest of the picture at 100%. If I could have been there an hour earlier I think it would look much better.
I wish I had some more space at the top.
I don't like the dark green in the background, I think if I went to the other side I could have gotten some buildings and the water.

Do you think my self-critique points are correct? I appreciate any other comments and critiques, no matter how good or bad!

Thanks!
