Appears to be shot at eye level. I would suggest getting down low creating the effect that the viewer is actually walking into the scene.
Perhaps a b&w or sepia effect would enhance the nostigic of it.
As far as the framing, the tree on the right is good creating a barrier so that the eyes don't attempt to wonder out of the frame.
The left side however could use a little tighter crop.
